Sparetext is offered as a free test service, as is, with no warranty and no promise of uptime. It may change or stop at any time.

Acceptable use

Only text people who expect to hear from you. No spam, bulk unsolicited marketing, phishing, harassment, or anything illegal where you or the recipient are. Follow your carrier's rules; many limit how many texts a phone may send. We may suspend accounts that are used for abuse.

Your phone, your number

Texts go out from your own phone and SIM. Carrier charges are yours. Keep your API keys secret: anyone holding one can send texts from your phones.

AI agents

When you connect an AI agent, you are responsible for what it sends on your behalf. Review what it plans to send, and disconnect it if you no longer want it to have access.
